Here are some pix of my XJ650/750 Maxim/Seca. The frame is a 1980 Maxim I (650) and the engine is a 1982 Seca 750 lump. The tank is hand crafted from a 650 base and a 550 top portion, hammer welded together and filled and smoothed with lead. Few can do lead work these days, it is almost a lost art.

The seat is a custom one off on a standard pan, widened almost 6 inches. The bags are vintage Shoei fiberglass units with aluminum custom hardware made from solid bar stock, scraps actually! Right now she is not feeling well, and is awaiting a re-wiring of the ignition system and yet another carb rinse. The exhaust is a Mac 4-1 all chrome megaphone. Air filters are by Uni. The shield is a Slipstreamer "Hellfire" model. Grips are a cheap aftermarket chrome set, but they match the "Iso-Peg" highway pegs very well. She is a very comfortable long distance mount. The origin of the luggage rack and its interchangable top box and back-rest is unknown, but they have been modified extensively since.
